Eleven years ago, Barbara traveled to Tulum, Mexico, and had a transformative experience that would lead her to her calling of being an artist. Soon after her trip in 2015, she painted several new pieces and had her first solo show at the Bostwick Tully's in downtown Tacoma. This painting holds special meaning as being one of this original collection, newly titled "Held."
